Robiul Hossen
Hello 👋, I am Robiul. I work as a mechanical engineering researcher based at City University , Savar. I care about bio nanocomposites and hybrid composites, honest reporting in venues like Scientific Reports, and careful industry QA/QC. The full timeline, references, and project list are in my CV (PDF).
Day to day I connect experiments to data: mechanical and thermal tests, microscopy, spectroscopy, and simple structural models when a design question needs a number, not a story.
- MgO / jute epoxy thesis paper, then naval UNREP/RAS FEA work in AJSE. Manuscripts in preparation cover a recycled denim epoxy hybrid and zinc from galvanizing dross. Journal homes: AJSE, Scientific Reports.
- Research assistant work at IUBAT with the NARP lab (MgO, FTIR, SEM, ASTM), and at CityU on a BMTF funded zinc recovery project.
- Recognition includes a CityU symposium presentation, a hydrogen poster (first place), district level debate (champion team), Apex treasurer role, and items listed on the certificates page.
Before graduate style research intensified, I worked in industry on polymer QC: UTM, impact, Vicat, hydrostatic checks on CPVC and UPVC. English scores: IELTS 7.5 overall.
- Prolifter Limited (engineering and handling) and Pii Marketers (digital). Public URLs for both belong in the CV when you publish them.
Degrees: B.Sc. ME (CGPA 3.27) from City University, and a Diploma in Power Engineering from Cumilla Polytechnic (CGPA 3.35).
Interests in one line: Nanocomposites, fiber reinforced composites, materials characterization, nanomaterials, smart materials.
